Top speed in the west

Lagos is hosting the 9th Terras do Infante International Roller Skating Tournament this weekend.

Recognised as one of the sport’s leading events worldwide, unique to Portugal and certainly the biggest to take place on the Iberian Peninsula, the three days of racing regularly feature around 300 top athletes from as far afield as the Ukraine, Holland, Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany and Belgium as well as Spain and Portugal.

All age groups up to senior internationals will be competing in and around the city over distances between 300m and the Marathon 30km tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am-3pm, Sunday (10am-12.30pm) and Monday (10am-1pm).
