Top scientists meet in Faro to work on major climate change report

This weekend marks the start of a meeting between around 260 climate change specialists from 60 countries who will be coming together at the University of Faro in the Algarve to work on a report about the impact of climate change on ecosystems and humans.

The meeting begins this Sunday and will continue until next Saturday (January 26-February 1) and is organised by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change.
