Portugal, represented by five athletes from the Arena de Faro martial arts club, concluded a highly successful 6th World Kempo Championships in Bukarest, Romania, last week.
Trainer Walter Pestana’s charges amassed a total of five Gold, three Silver and six Bronze medals in the K1, Full and Semi-Contact categories as the women’s team in particular stood out amongst the 38 competing countries.
