MORE THAN 40 exhibitors are confirmed to take part in CASA DECOR, a major home decor exhibition, coming to the Algarve for the first time ever this summer, to be staged at Fábrica da Cerveja in Faro, from July 13 until August 20.
CASA DECOR is the biggest interior design and decoration event in Portugal, and is organised by the team responsible for the staging of 20 similar exhibitions in cities including Madrid, Barcelona, London and Buenos Aires. This year, CASA DECOR events will also be held in Miami, Rome and Milan.
The exhibition takes the form of a giant house, with each exhibitor being given a room to decorate in their own particular style. Those designers already confirmed to take part this year include Aline Leote, Andy Sproll, Astrid Hesselink, Beat Walchli, Jean Claude Defance, Jean-Louis Yves, Maria Raposo, Paulo and Isabel Santos, Sandra Botelho and Stephen Philip, to name just a few.
In previous years, the CASA DECOR Portugal exhibition has been held in Porto, Cascais and Estoril.
Opening hours are 5pm to midnight and entrance to the event costs 10 euros. A 50 per cent discount on the entry fee is offered to the over 65s and under 25s.
