Top hit auction

An auction in New York made more than 466,000 euros after auctioning around 300 items of pop memorabilia. Among the array of musically historic items was a signed 1967 Sgt Pepper souvenir poster of all four Beatles (sold for 37,658 euros), Bob Dylan’s handwritten song lyrics ‘With God on Our Side’ (17,932 euros) and Kurt Cobain’s (late front man from grunge band Nirvana) bass guitar, which was sold for 31,382 euros. Other memorabilia being sold included Bon Scott’s (late AC/DC front man) book of handwritten lyrics dating from the late 70s.
