Sweden’s Johanna Westerberg emerged victorious at the Portugal Ladies Golf Open held at the Golden Eagle Club in Rio Maior after seeing off the challenge of Spain’s Tania Elosegui during a sudden death play-off. Both players had finished the 54 regular holes on 213 strokes while Portuguese-French challenger Caroline Afonso’s 222 score card was only good enough for 36th place.
