I would like to know what the cost was of making the A22 into a toll road and how much money is being raised and the expenses of collecting it.
If anyone has any idea could they let us all know through your column.
On another issue the problems of corked wine can be eliminated by buying bag-in-box wines. They range in price from about €1 a litre and up to €4 or 5 a litre.
There are some excellent wines out there especially from the Alentejo , Lisboa and Palmela regions.
The boxes keep at least four weeks after opening, except the very good ones which seem to be consumed much more rapidly.
You can drink a glass at a time or as much as you want and 5 litre boxes do not take up much room in the fridge.
