Road toll revenue has increased 9.3% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, Portuguese road authority Estradas de Portugal (EP) has announced.
In these first six months of 2014, EP recorded €141.5 million worth of revenue from tolls.
According to EP, revenue has increased due to “more users” and “more efficient toll charging systems”.
