Toddler found

A Portuguese toddler was taken to the Refúgio Aboim Ascensão children’s home in Faro by police on Friday, May 22 after being found alone on a street near the home at 4am.

The girl, aged two, will stay at the children’s home until a decision is made by the family court in Faro, and members of her family have been interviewed by police in relation to the case.

Director of the home, Luís Villas-Boas, said that the girl is now fine, playing and laughing.
