Tobacco study

Tobacco retailers in Portugal are not complying with the law that prohibits the sale of cigarettes to under 18s, concluded a study by consumer watchdog Deco. Out of the 105 outlets Deco visited in Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Lisbon and Porto, 72 sold tobacco to underage persons. Luís Rebelo, president of the Portuguese Confederation for Smoking Prevention, called for action from ASAE.
