Around 20,000 packs of cigarettes worth 70,000 Euros were seized on November 7 on board the ferry Vólcan deTijarafe in Lagos.
The operation, by the Maritime Police, PJ Police and the border and immigration control authority SEF, found the tobacco in the luggage of
nine Romanians.
Investigations by the PJ police are ongoing.
