To the fore

The Oceânico Group has issued invitations for its second World Kids Golf Championship 2010 following this year’s inaugural event success.

Aspiring young players between the ages of seven and 18 will be competing on the company’s top class courses in the Algarve between July 26 and 30.

Meanwhile, the big news last week on the professional circuit concerned the retirement of world No1 Tiger Woods, the naming of Portugal Masters and Dubai winner Lee Westwood as European Golfer of the Year as well as the announcement that Portugal will present its candidature to host the 2018 Ryder Cup.
