Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in the region will be promoting the Algarve Wine Festival with the aim of raising the profile, name and reputation of Algarve wines from April 3 to 9.
From April 3 to 7, the Tivoli Victoria, Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, Tivoli Carvoeiro, Tivoli Lagos and Tivoli Marina Portimão will be hosting two wine producers from the region each day from 5pm to 8pm.
The producers will present, offer tasting sessions and the opportunity to buy their top wines, which will feature on the menus of the day in the restaurants at these hotels.
On April 9 from 3pm to 7pm, the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura will host a wine fair for hotel and restaurant trade professionals, where the 10 producers involved will present and promote their products.
The festival has the support of the Algarve Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Algarve Wine Producing Commission, the participating wine producers and wine expert Aníbal Coutinho, adviser and trainer for Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in the field of wine.
The Algarve Wine Festival follows the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts’ policy on sustainability, which seeks to stimulate the development and sustainability of local suppliers and producers and promote the region’s economy.
Participating producers are Adega do Cantor, Herdade dos Pimenteis, Monte da Casteleja, Quinta do Barranco Longo, Quinta dos Correias, Quinta dos Lopes, Quinta do Morgado da Torre, Quinta da Penina, Quinta dos Vales and Única – Adega Cooperativa do Algarve.
