Tivoli chain opens new hotel in Vilamoura

Tivoli Victoria, the first hotel to be built from scratch by the Tivoli Hotel and Resort chain, has now opened in Vilamoura.

The hotel, which is set in 40,000sqm of grounds, was designed by architectural company Promontório Arquitectos.

The accommodation comprises one presidential suite, two executive suites, 14 junior suites, 184 twin bedrooms and 79 double rooms.

Every room has a veranda and those on the ground floor also have a private garden with Jacuzzi, while the suites have a home theatre system and a personal butler service.

The rooms have been decorated by Promontório Interior Design with white marble flooring, American oak wall panels and wall paper made from natural fibres.

As well as being surrounded by golf courses, the hotel has a golf desk and exclusive changing rooms for golfers. It also provides access to the driving ranges of the Oceânico’s Victoria, Millennium and Laguna courses, with an unlimited number of balls, as well as free transport to all other Oceânico courses.

Other facilities at the hotel include 900sqm of meeting and banquet rooms, a gourmet restaurant for 80 diners and a second restaurant with international cuisines for up to 200 diners.

Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool and four outdoor swimming pools, one of which is for children, a large artificial turf tennis court and a spa covering 1,200sqm.

The Tivoli Victoria hotel is due to be officially inaugurated in June.
