Tivoli Carvoeiro has been awarded a top prize by the passengers of British Airways who have given the hotel a 9.6 score out of 10.
The impressive feedback led the airline to award the hotel with the British Airways Holiday Customer Excellence Award for 2018, created to pay homage to the hotels that are praised the most by the airline’s clients.
The score was one of the highest of all and is based on a number of factors such as the hotel’s location, service and the quality of sleep that guests can enjoy.
“This award is yet another acknowledgement of our staff’s day-to-day care and friendliness. We are very happy and extremely grateful for this award which represents the priceless recognition from our guests,” said the hotel’s general manager João Jesus.
He added that this latest distinction comes just three months after the hotel was elected ‘Best Hotel for Families’ in the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2019.
Tivoli Carvoeiro underwent a major facelift and reopened with a new five-star status in 2017. Along with its 248 new rooms and suites came a Sky Bar which has become one of Carvoeiro’s favourite sunset spots thanks to its 360º view.
