Algarve Motor Park stages its last international meeting of a highly successful first season of top class racing this weekend with the final rounds of the International GT Open, the Spanish GT and Portuguese
PTCC championships.
Today (Friday), tomorrow and Sunday see Marcel Fassler and Joel Camathias bidding to see off the challenge from the Portuguese pairing of Manuel Giao and Pedro Couceiro in the main event, while another ‘home’ team, Lourenço Beirao da Veiga and Ricardo Bravo, will be looking to maintain the dominant form which has secured them a 10-point lead over their nearest rivals in the Spanish GT.
Lastly, domestic touring car honours are contested between Pedro Fontes and Duarte Felix da Costa in what should be another exciting occasion for motor racing fans.
