Time to celebrate for Fine & Country Algarve

Algarve estate agent wins world’s best marketing award within the Fine & Country network and celebrates 10th anniversary

The annual Fine & Country conference took place in London on March 10, bringing together over 300 agents from all over the UK and around the world, with Fine & Country Algarve scooping the coveted award for Best Marketing & Exposure.

“To fight off such strong competition from our colleagues in different countries and from the UK is a great achievement for us,” said F&C Algarve’s managing partner Zoie Hawker. “My team worked so hard, and we invested more than ever last year to ensure that our marketing really stood out.”

Jorge Pereira, sales & marketing, explained how digital marketing and social media are the main focus, “but what really made us stand out is what we do different to most other agents.

“Now that Covid travel restrictions are behind us, we are back on the road, flying the Fine & Country flag and promoting the Algarve at events in countries such as the UK, France and the USA. Print media is also a very important part of our marketing strategy as is the production of high-quality promotional literature, which was all considered by the judges.”

F&C celebration

The award coincides with the launch of F&C Algarve’s 10th anniversary celebrations. It was in 2013 that Zoie Hawker, along with her business partner Richard Lamberth and a small team, took a single-office licence from Fine & Country in Carvoeiro.

The following year, the company took out the regional master licence for the Algarve in order to open more offices elsewhere along the coast.

Today, with a total of 18 staff, the company has three offices in the region located in Carvoeiro, Almancil and Tavira.

“2022 was a record year for Fine & Country in the Algarve,” said Zoie, “and our focus now is on further consolidating our position as one of the leading estate agents in the region specialising in the luxury market”.

The company also has reason to celebrate in the UK, now ranking in second place as the “most prominent real estate brand”, behind only Savills in a recent YouGov survey. Fine & Country’s market share in the UK also saw impressive growth last year, rising 39.39% and 45.72% respectively for new instructions in the £750k+ and £1m+ price ranges to 3rd and 4th position in the national ranking.
