Only a few tickets are left for Deadly Nightcap, the whodunnit by Francis Durbridge having its final performances at Lagoa auditorium on Thursday and Friday (June 18 and 19) at 8pm.
The Algarveans Experimental Theatre says it has pulled out all the stops with this play which “has its share of twists and turns”.
“We have not performed a really good thriller for a number of years and thought this one was brilliant as it has a large cast and has given quite a few of our members the opportunity to be involved,” said committee member Trevor Herrington, who is also playing the detective trying to solve the crime.
The plot follows Jack and Sarah Radford, who appear to be a happy and successful couple living in a large country house. However, Jack is secretly plotting to murder his wife and then inherit everything. He tries to convince Sarah that she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and enlists the help of his girlfriend Anna to do so. But all does not go according to plan…
