CHRISTMAS GIFT packs for Rock in Rio-Lisboa 2006 music festival are now on sale in FNAC stores across the country – they include an entrance voucher for the event and a special limited edition T-shirt.
A total of 10,000 of these limited edition Christmas kits will be available from FNAC stores until January 13, costing 53 euros each, the price of a ticket to the event. The voucher contained in the pack can be exchanged for a ticket to the show when they go on sale between February 21 and March 31, 2006 at any FNAC store.
The organisers decided to make the tickets available earlier, after research in 2004 showed that the public were keen to purchase tickets for the event in advance.
Artists at the 2004 event in Lisbon included well-known names such as Sting, Britney Spears, Sir Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel and Metallica. This year, the organisers are asking for the general public to make suggestions of which international acts they would like to see perform in Lisbon.
