Three seaquakes felt onland in Braga, Porto and Viana do Castelo

Three seaquakes off Spanish Galicia, roughly 35 kms south-southwest of Cape Finisterre, were felt onland in Santo Tirso, Póvoa de Lanhoso and Ponte Lima (the boroughs of Braga, Porto and Viana do Castelo respectively). According to meteorological institute IPMA the highest level of the three quakes was 4.1 – a number (on the Richter Scale) that is still  considered to be “light” and unlikely to cause damages.
