It’s not clear whether they got their masks from Aldi, but three armed men ‘raided’ the Estoril branch of the popular chain on Sunday night, disguised in ornate Carnival masks, complete with false hair, plundering cash registers to the tune of €10,0000.
Say reports, the store was closed at the time, although five staff members were still inside. The five were tied up but otherwise left unharmed.
