Three Algarvean hotels – Vila Galé Albacora (Tavira), Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa (Vilamoura) and Conrad Algarve (Quinta do Lago) – have been awarded ‘The Green Key’ for their environmentally-friendly policies.
The three join 52 other hotels up and down the country to have been awarded at a ceremony in Funchal, Madeira on Friday (May 30).
Green Key – founded in Denmark in 1994 – is the largest global eco-label for accommodation and has a national administration centre in each of its 45 participating countries.
