Bikers paraded through the town’s streets
The 41st edition of Faro’s famous bikers rally came to a close on Sunday with its usual parade, attended by thousands of people who either watched from the sidelines or took part in it on their own motorbike.
The parade’s route included some of the main squares and streets in Faro, from the São Francisco square to the Calouste Gulbenkian and 5 de Outubro avenues.
This year’s rally attracted around 15,000 people – a lower figure compared to previous editions due to a reduction in the camping area which was imposed by authorities for “environmental reasons”, revealed the president of the Faro Moto Club.
