Thousands expected at Lisbon’s chocolate festival

As many as 30,000 chocolate-lovers and sweet-toothed enthusiasts are expected at this year’s ‘Chocolate em Lisboa’ festival, held at Campo Pequeno between Thursday, February 9 and Sunday, February 12.

This fourth event of its kind will feature upwards of “80 chocolatiers” – some of them from Michelin-starred restaurants – as well as chocolate from Portugal and other parts of the world, including Peru, Venezuela, France, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Spain, Vietnam, Madagascar, Brazil and Switzerland.

Entrance costs €4 with children under six going in free, and under-12s paying half price.
