Theme Park plan to ban Speedos

Alton Towers is planning to ban men from wearing Speedos around its poolside area at the theme park’s hotel resort.

A surge of unsightly tight Speedos was seen last weekend at the pool during the mini heat wave Britain experienced.

The resort’s employees will suggest that male guests wear a more family-friendly swimsuit such as board shorts but if the situation gets worse a full on ban will take place.

Alton Tower’s PR manager, Rachael Lockitt, said that the company is a family resort and they don’t want children to “start asking questions”.

She also stated that Speedos, favoured by stars such as Rod Stewart and Cristiano Ronaldo, were more suited to “Spain than Staffordshire”.
