A winter season of theatre performances by the Jefferies English Theatre Company will be launched on November 24 and 25 with a dinner theatre performance at the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra.
Gin Game, written by D.L Coburn won a Pulitzer Prize in 1978 when it was first produced and tells the story of the relationship between two senior citizens as they play a game of Gin Rummy.
Victor Graham plays Weller, a frustrated man with a short fuse while Suzanne Jefferies takes the role of Fonsia, a new resident to the home for the elderly that they share.
Both actors have had long careers with Victor Graham having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and later playing various Shakespearean roles before appearing on television in comedy shows.
Meanwhile, Suzanne Jefferies has appeared in English speaking productions across Europe and also featured in Coronation Street and Keep the Aspidistra Flying.
The performances of Gin Game will take place in the Raj Restaurant at the hotel with audiences to be seated between 7pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets to the show cost 30 Euros per person and include a three course Indian meal, half a bottle of wine and coffee.
