Temperatures are expected to be mild this weekend across the Algarve, with cloudy skies, strong winds and showers with sunny spells on both days.
Daytime temperatures in the west, around Sagres, will see maximum highs of 19°C on Saturday and 16°C on Sunday, while evening temperatures are predicted to be 16°C and 14°C on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Towards the east, in Faro, temperatures will be similar to the west, with daytime temperatures of 20°C on Saturday and 16°C on Sunday. Evening temperatures are predicted to be 16°C and 13°C on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
A very strong southerly wind is predicted to blow across the western Algarve on Saturday, before weakening to a south westerly wind the following day. A strong south westerly wind is predicted to blow across the east of the region throughout the weekend.
Throughout the weekend, the sky will remain cloudy with some sunny spells and showers across the Algarve.
Ocean temperatures along the western coast will be 15°C, while in the east it will be one degree warmer, with wave heights across the region up to four metres in height on both days.
Looking to the coming week, temperatures are likely to be mild, with average highs of 17°C and lows of 13°C. Clouds and showers with some sunny spells are expected every day until the end of the week.
