The Right Juice trailer ready for next stage

The making of the Algarve’s first, very own English-language full length feature film The Right Juice has reached an important stage in production. The first trailer is ready for release.

This trailer will be presented to distributors, the first step on the road to theatrical release. The trailer will soon be available on the film’s webpage, the Facebook page and on The Right Juice YouTube channel.

The scenes filmed during the principal photography of The Right Juice are reaching final stages of edit completion. A few big and beautiful establishing shots of Algarve scenery are still needed, which were not able to be filmed due to wet, cloudy and overcast weather during the filming in April and May last year. Director Kristjan Knigge is waiting for a warm, sunny spell to capture these scenes.

In the meantime, the edited footage will be reviewed by the composers to write the music score. Pedro Frias and Beau McClellan, who both act in the film, have laid down the track for the first trailer.

For the film background music soundtrack, they will be joined by Los Angeles-based award-winning film score composer Nuno Maló, who was born and raised in Silves and has taken a keen interest in the film. The film stars Mark Killeen, Lúcia Moniz, Miguel Damião, Ellie Chidzey and Beau McClellan.
