AUDIENCES WHO attended the Centro da Quinta do Paço theatre in December were wonderfully entertained by the cast of this sensational revue The Rhythm of Life, compiled and directed by David Butler-Cole, plus the creative versatility of music by Graham Cooper.
The show consisted of a series of funny sketches performed by the amateur cast, with Graham providing entertaining musical links between the acts. Although the weather was cold, the packed audience was warmed by the complimentary hot ‘gluwein’ (German mulled wine). António Nunes, Commandant of the Silves Bombeiros, gratefully received a cheque for 1,675 euros, which will be shared with the Messines Bombeiros.
