THE YOUNG, dynamic and fresh-faced Rubens Quartet from Holland gave two of the most captivating concerts in the 25-year history of the São Lourenço Cultural Centre in Almancil recently.
Two girls and two boys in their 20s played brilliantly, capturing the audience’s fullest attention with music by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.
The next concerts at São Lourenço Cultural Centre, supported as always by the Amigos de Música de São Lourenço, will take place on April 12 and 15.
