Situated in the heart of Lagoa, Chrissy’s Restaurant offers a dining experience not to be forgotten. The ambience is one of relaxed, gourmet dining in a stylish restaurant with attentive service.
The cuisine is a mixture of Belgian and French dishes, with weekly changing Chefs’ Suggestions, and specialties including fried chicken livers with Foie Gras or seafood shell Thermidor as entrees, and fillet of lamb with honey-mint sauce and fried sole with asparagus as main dishes. The dishes are accompanied by an extensive Portuguese wine list.
Debbie and Louis Wilde have been the proud owners of Chrissy’s Restaurant since December 2008, having moved over to Portugal earlier in the year.
Debbie told the Algarve Resident: “We always knew we wanted to relocate to the area when Louis retired and now, having bought the restaurant, we are passionate about the food and service our restaurant offers.”
They have kept the same Belgian/French concept and would like to express their gratitude to all their loyal customers.
The restaurant is open right through the Christmas and New Year period, only closing for Christmas Eve and then on January 9, 2010 for two weeks.
Their Christmas Day evening and New Year’s Eve menus are available on request and New Year’s Eve will be a lavish seven course gourmet dinner, including a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival. Chrissy’s also caters for private functions.
The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 6.30pm to 10pm.
