The tallest player competing in Portugal is the Czech Republic’s Jan Koller at 2m, 2cm. England’s Darius Vassell, at 1m, 70cm, Ashley Cole and Paul Scholes, are among the three smallest players. Only Lizarazu (France), Davids (Holland) and two Russian reserves are one centimetre smaller.
Lastly, England tops the league of nations providing the most players in Portugal. A total of 18 clubs are represented by no less than 58 stars. Germany and Italy are second and third with 50 and 47 respectively.
