Dear Editor,
The high summer season is upon us with hopefully many foreigners who for the first time will be visiting our coastal towns and beaches.
It is therefore so painful and embarrassing as a local resident to see the litter on our road sides and accumulating for four days outside the overflowing public waste bins.
The garbage was only removed on Monday after 10am. The road is between Carvoeiro and Sesmarias close to Solférias.
It has been the same scenario for the last three weekends at least.
