The Food Co. has opened, on the 25th February, its second store. Located in Avenida Duarte Pacheco, in Almancil, spreading across an area of around 1,000sqm and boasting a 48-space car park, they were “swarmed as soon as the doors opened and the car park was filled all day long ”, says store manager Lorraine Elphinstone.
The Food Co. was set up in 2019 after opening their first store in the heart of the Puerto de Mazarrón, Spain, in order to bring the very best of the UK food market directly to Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar & The Balearics.
A major expansion program is underway in 2020 and early 2021, with the next three stores already confirmed to open in the first Quarter of this year.
They aim to bring the best international-branded products and the finest that Tesco has to offer to your door, whether you’re soaking up the sun on the Costa del Sol, admiring the beautiful beaches of the Canaries, or immersing yourself in the vibrant Portuguese culture, so that you’re never far away from all your home comforts.
