THE NATIONAL Acrobatic Circus of Beijing, considered to be one of the best circus companies in the world, will be performing two shows at the Algarve Stadium in Faro, on August 8 and 9.
The Beijing Circus, which topped the bill at the last International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, will perform as part of the summer programme, organised by Faro and Loulé Câmaras, in two evenings entitled ‘Nights of the Orient’.
The câmaras hope that the shows will bring more credibility and recognition to Parque das Cidades, and in particular the Algarve Stadium, especially as the structure, which cost over 30 million euros to build, has not been used to its full potential.
