The biggest chill-out event in Portugal

After a two-year break, Noite Branca (White Night), the biggest chill-out event in Portugal, is returning to Loulé on August 31.

The city centre will again be filled with thousands of people dressed in white and relaxing to chill-out music in the “biggest living room under the stars”.

Loulé Câmara guarantees visitors will be in for a night to remember with plenty of entertainment and surprises on offer.

There will be street performances, DJs, concerts, art exhibitions and dance shows, all bringing magic to the streets of Loulé.

With roads closed to traffic, open air lounges will be set up everywhere, so guests can relax on a couch or bean bag by candlelight in the middle of the road!

The underlying objective of Noite Branca is to promote local businesses, so the majority of the shops will be open offering special discounts that night only.

In 2010, Noite Branca attracted 30,000 people, however the event was cancelled in 2011 due to the financial constraints of the municipality.

At the time, Loulé Câmara said it would rather direct funds towards social projects to help the most vulnerable groups.

This year, lovers of this popular event can start preparing their best white outfit for what promises to be another successful Noite Branca.

Entrance is free.
