Apolónia is holding a three-week celebration of all things German in its Almancil and Galé stores between March 15 and April 5.
The Best of Germany event will feature a series of product tastings and special displays of German goods.
Highlights of the event include a German show cooking session given by Vila Vita Parc Hotel Executive Chef Manfred Kickmaier, who will reveal the secrets of authentic specialities served up in the five-star hotel’s Biergarten restaurant.
Recipes include the Bavarian treat ‘Obazda’, Potato Salad and Knuckle of Pork.
German show cooking will be held at the Almancil store tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am and at the Galé store on March 24, from 11am.
