International Fado star Mariza will be performing some of her biggest hits and new material from her latest album Terra during a concert tomorrow (Saturday) at the municipal auditorium in Lagos.
The Terra album has been influenced by jazz, flamenco, latin and African sounds and received a Latin Grammy nomination for best folk album in 2008.
Meanwhile, another renowned Fado singer, Ana Moura, will be performing in Vale do Lobo tomorrow (Saturday) evening as part of the Allgarve programme of events.
The singer from Santarém has achieved national and international critical acclaim for her unique voice and interpretation of the traditional Fado sound.

Both concerts are set to begin at 10pm with tickets costing 20 Euros per person.
