Staff and clients at Carvoeiro estate agency, Palm Properties, are currently enjoying a very different office environment. Owner, Mark Wheelan, is staging a series of exhibitions by local artists over the coming months, each transforming the atmosphere in the building, from property wheeler-dealing to something a little more aesthetic.
Having already displayed some beautiful marine sculptures, Mark’s latest find is artist Cristiano Cruz. His colourful abstract paintings hang on two walls of the office, vividly demonstrating the artist’s belief in the strength of the inner human soul – something that may seem at odds with the popular image of an estate agent!
Over the coming months, the Palm Properties office is due to stage several other exhibitions, including one where the artist will transform the entire building into a Chinese pagoda. Palm Properties is on the right hand side of the Carvoeiro ‘in’ road.
