A THANKSGIVING dinner, organised by Americans in Portugal (AmP), will take place at Cascais Cultural Centre Restaurant on November 22 at 7.30pm.
The all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner will consist of gourmet style roast turkey served with all the trimmings, including American-made stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and much more. The meal will be accompanied by a choice of wine, water and soft drinks. Desserts of pecan and pumpkin pies will be accompanied by vanilla ice cream and choice of coffee or tea.
AmP will sponsor a thanksgiving raffle with donated prizes, which will be awarded during the dinner.
Dinner tickets are priced at 25 euros per adult and 15 euros for children aged 13 and under. Anyone is welcome.
AmP is also organising Christmas presents for children at the SOS home. Wrap and label gifts for a girl or boy and the appropriate age between three and 18.
