Former lead singer of Portuguese Fado and folk band Madredeus Tereza Salgueiro is performing at Convento das Bernardas in Tavira on August 5.
The concert is part of her world tour, called Voltarei à Minha Terra (I Will Return Home), and starts at 10pm.
In 2005, she released her first solo album called Obrigado, which included sessions by well-known musicians such as Caetano Veloso, Carlos Núñez, José Carreras and Angelo Branduardi, and later in 2009 she launched her second album, Matriz.
Tickets cost €15 and can be purchased at the Museu Municipal de Tavira/Palácio da Galeria from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 12.30pm and between 3pm and 6.30pm.
