Djokovic couple chose Azores as holiday destination
Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis legend who earlier this month became the first tennis player ever to win 23 Grand Slam tournaments with a victory at Roland Garos, has taken some time off to enjoy a dream holiday with his wife Jelena in the Azores.
Jelena Djokovic has shared a video documenting their adventures in the Portuguese archipelago on her Instagram page, revealing that the trip was her birthday wish and that she “loved” the experience.
The video shows the couple hiking in the mountains and visiting the Azores’ famous lakes, as well as its hot springs.
The holiday was an opportunity for Novak Djokovic to recharge his batteries after his win at Roland Garos this month. Having also won the Australia Open, the 36-year-old is certainly looking to add his eighth Wimbledon title to his resumé next month.
