THE LISBON Casuals held a fundraising Doubles Tennis Tournament ‘Scottish Style’ at St Julian’s School in Carcavelos recently. The day was hot, as was the standard of play. Of the 10 teams who entered, there were many closely fought matches. The Group One victors, Hillary Scot and James Lee, beat the father and son team of Villy and Rune Petersen. The Group Two victors, Jane Clatworthy and Eddie Farano, barely edged out Michelle Larcombe and Alex Lewis. The event raised more than 200 euros towards the club’s 25th anniversary later this year.
