Mixed doubles couples took part in the Heat of the Night tournament at the Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis with pairs playing into the evening for the chance to win iPod Shuffle MP3 players during this fun yet competitive competition.
In total, 24 couples took to the courts at the club with winners including Stella and Romeu Rocha, Gaby and Luís Piscarreta and Heleen and Ton van Royen with head coach Graeme Hulme refereeing the proceedings.

Guests and family members of the players came together after the tournament where there was then a dance show by the reception staff and a chicken dinner served to guests.
