The Jim Stewart Tennis Academy at Quinta do Lago held its 2009 Club Championship Finals on November 14.
Members battled it out to claim top-spot and reaching the tournament’s latter stages were a number of the club’s most talented members, with the final day seeing a series of exciting matches.
Raul Fereira won the Men’s Singles, Kay Briggs won the Ladies Singles, Chris Manson and Mark Foot won the Men’s Doubles, Sarah Twist and Becky Woltma won the Ladies Doubles and Louise Thoms and Paul Ferreira won the Mixed Doubles.
Following the tournament, a celebration dinner was held at Monty’s in Vale do Lobo, where winners were awarded their trophies.
