A 16-year-old motorcyclist died after being involved in an accident near the Gil Eanes school in Lagos on Tuesday (June 28).
National tabloid Correio da Manhã says the young biker crashed into the side of a car and sustained “several injuries”.
He was “inanimate” when emergency services arrived, according to CM.
The motorcyclist was “reanimated” on his way to Portimão Hospital but was declared dead after arriving.
A 52-year-old woman who was inside the car sustained minor injuries but was described as being “very upset”.
The cause of the accident was not explained.
PSP police are investigating. The Resident contacted PSP but has been unable to obtain more information on the crash.
