Teachers have said they will be joining the public sector workers’ strike, scheduled for Friday (October 27) – and their list of demands will not be restricted to the recovery of ‘time frozen’ (six years, six months and 23 days). They will also be calling for decent ‘career development’ structures and better working conditions. Friday’s strike has been called by the Common Font (Frente Comum) of Public Sector syndicates.
