Teachers protest in Lisbon “to denounce ministerial illusions”

Teachers union Fenprof has organised a demonstration in Lisbon today to protest against the inaction of the education ministry which it accuses of failing to address serious issues, namely regarding retirement and the ‘rejuvenation of the profession’. The objective of today’s show of force is to “demand solutions to problems that affect the profession and alert other countries to the fact that what is said by ministers in international reunions seems to be destined to create illusions”.
