Fair || Bargain-price shopping is the selling point of Tavira’s ‘Feira de Stocks’, currently open for business until August 31 between 7pm and 11.30pm in Rua do Cais.
Visitors to the event organised by Associação Baixa de Tavira will find shops selling everything from clothes and accessories to jewellery, handicrafts and much more.
There will also be live entertainment every night, starting at 10pm at Praça da República.
A covers band appropriately named ‘Tributes Band’ was scheduled to perform on the fair’s opening day (August 28), followed by a tango show ‘Assim Baila Argentina’ (August 29), a musical and dance performance by ‘Al Caravan’ (August 30) and finally musician Pedro Mestre playing the traditional Viola Campaniça guitar (August 31).
