Several roads in the Tavira municipality are to undergo improvement works following the signing of an agreement between the municipal authority and building company MAJA. The work to pave the roads with bituminous concrete represents an investment of more than €90,700 and is expected to last 45 days. Roads to be improved are Nora Branca and Vasco da Gama (Cabanas), Almirante Cândido dos Reis (Santa Maria), Capitão Joaquim Soares Santa Luzia) and Nossa Senhora da Luz (Luz de Tavira).
